Merchants are required to provide notice to the check writer, prior to receiving a check. This notice states that the amount of the check, along with any state allowable fees, may be collected electronically if the check is returned for non-sufficient funds. Enclosed in our Welcome Kit are the decals that provide this notice to the check writer. Simply make them visible at the point of sale. (Labels are available in English and Spanish). If you need additional decals, please contact CheckVelocity Customer Service at
support@checkvelocity.com .

If you receive checks via mail or without a point of sale, the same language that is stated on the enclosed label should be included on your invoice statements.

For online reporting, you will be required to change your password the first time you login. It must be a 6 digit alpha numeric password. If you have any support questions, please contact CheckVelocity with your merchant ID via email

If the check writer has any questions about this service and their rights pertaining to the regulations governing automatic check recovery they may contact CheckVelocity at
support@checkvelocity.com .

Automatic Check Recovery does not recover stop payment, stale dated, or account closed checks. Should you request, they will be forwarded to our secondary collection service — should you choose not to utilize this option, these checks will be returned to you following the automatic recovery process.

You may view your account activity 24/7 via the Internet. Your user name and password can be obtained by calling our toll free number during normal business hours. Once set up, go to
www.checkvelocity.com and click on
login located at the top of the page.

If a check writer attempts to settle an NSF check with you directly that has already been submitted for collection, please contact CheckVelocity. There is a good chance the check has already been processed in the system.
